Having beaten Ottawa in 3 of the previous 4 postseasons, Ottawa fans were desperate to finally get one over on Toronto. The series went to game 7 and then immediately all the tension vanished. Toronto jumped up to a huge lead and crushed Ottowa. Toronto made it clear, they were the Kings of Ontario.

Finally getting back to winning ways after the Ballard era, an overtime game-winner in game 7 of the playoffs marked the beginning of a resurgence for Toronto. Finally, after so long, the Maple Leafs had something real to cheer for. 

1967 Stanley Cup Finals: Game 6 
13th Championship 
Toronto vs Montreal

The Leafs needed just one more win – against their biggest rivals, the Montreal Canadiens, to capture their 13th Stanley Cup trophy. On the back of Terry Sawchuk's 41-save performance, the Leafs carried a 2-1 lead into the last minutes, when captain George Armstrong sealed the deal with an empty-net goal from outside the blue line. The Cup was coming back to Toronto. 

2007 Regular Season 
Sundin breaks Sittler's record

A truly special game for Toronto fans and their legend, Mats Sundin. In one single game, Sundin broke Sittler's club record for both goals and points, forever eternalizing himself in Toronto hockey history. Sundin ended his Toronto career with 420 goals and 987 points, averaging 1.006 P/GP
