Fleury's double save to clinch the Finals included a final diving attempt to block Lidström's follow-up and is one of the league's greatest saves in history. An iconic moment for Pittsburgh legend Fleury, it secured the Cup as they got revenge on Detroit who had beaten them the year prior.

After dispatching New York, Washington and Tampa Bay in route to the Finals, Pittsburgh was more than ready to claim the title over San Jose. San Jose was able to force a Game 6 but no more. Brian Dumoulin opened scoring with a goal on a power play but San Jose's Logan Couture tied it in the second. Kris Letang quickly answered, with the eventual game winner, off a pass from Sidney Crosby to put Pittsburgh up 2 - 1. Patric Hornqvist finished the game with an empty netter to give Pittsburgh a resounding win over San Jose and their 4th Stanley Cup.
