Hockey's Early Years

Before it was the Original Six the NHL (and preceding leagues) had its ups and downs, with teams from Canada and the United States being founded and folding as quickly as they began. From the early Ottawa Senators, to the Toronto Arenas, to the Montreal Marroons and the Brooklyn Americans--these were uncertain times, when hockey was still finding its place in the hearts of North American sports fans.
