Having beaten Ottowa in 3 of the previous 4 postseasons, Ottawa fans were desperate to finally get one over on Toronto. The series went to game 7 and then immediately all the tension vanished. Toronto jumped up to a huge lead and crushed Ottowa. Toronto made it clear, they were the Kings of Ontario.

A truly special game for Toronto fans and their legend, Mats Sundin. In one single game, Sundin broke Sittler's club record for both goals and points, forever eternalizing himself in Toronto hockey history. Sundin ended his Toronto career with 420 goals and 987 points, averaging 1.006 P/GP.
